The 4th Annual Dick's Garage Reunion!
Car, truck, and motorcycle enthusiasts from as far away as Illinois brought their customs, rods, competition cars, classics, and antiques in record numbers to the fourth annual Dick's Garage Reunion hosted once again by Dick and Patti Duston. Thanks again to Dick and Patti and their extended family for hosting the event at their farm and workshop. Just under 100 show cars were displayed on the grounds this year.
After a few opening words by Dick, Richard "Wolfman" Habeck lead those gathered in a moment of remembrance for all those who have served and fallen in defense of our country. Then featured speaker Rich Schmidt delivered a thought provoking message from scripture to the audience of well over 100 people. Many thanks to Rick for his participation. Here's a video of the complete message.
Participants enjoyed free hot dogs with all the fixin's, snacks, baked goods, and coffee provided by C3 members and others. Many thanks to Terry Blessing and family and Richard Habeck for their contributions in both time and delicious comestibles. Door prizes were awarded after the message. Thanks to Dick Duston, Meguiar's, The Absorber company, and other folks for donating items for the drawing. Mark the Saturday before Memorial Day on your calendar for next year. Bring your ride, we hope to see your at the fifth annual show in 2016!
